- I have an ikea mattress and platform bed. I was gifted a new bed and mattress for my 50th birthday amongst many other great gifts, so I no longer have room in my townhome for my old set up. The mattress was completely unstained until my brother in law spilt a full dark brew craft beer on it while it has not been used in over a year. Still in great shape or I would not bother to offer it up. The wood on the bed is the dark black ikea option you already know about, the bed is without drawers just a nice simple backboard and platform in excellent condition. We may or may not be able to disassemble into flat pack version and haul it out before you arrive, you may need to help yourself I'm unsure at this time. Please send a day and time window you can pickup, preference given to people who don't ask a lot of questions or make me do a lot of work. No need to exchange phone numbers, and so on.
