Due to Helene, our dog/cat door is completely ruined. It's located in our family room and it's just too cold in there now. We have to keep the door open during the day because that's how the dogs get out to go to the bathroom (we have an invisible fence). I am in search of a used (or new) enclosed, single axle, utility trailer. My 501c3 will modify it to be used as a mobile emergency solar powered micro grid and power station. It will be made avaliable to those in need in the Transylvania and Henderson County areas to provide electricity for those without power during grid outages, storms and other situations. Priority will be given to the elderly, those with medical support equipment such as CPAP and oxygen concentrator, and those with small children. If you have an unused trailer, please consider donating it to this great cause that will help people in need.
