I feel like they'd be ideal for college students moving into an apartment, or perhaps for a family to have as a default set of casual daily dishes so that you can save your more expensive ones for when you have company over! They're shiny black and octagonal. I have small (salad) plates, dinner plates, bowls, and coffee cups. All matching!
