The leather is a bit worn, but it still works great and is extremely comfortable: I have napped many times in this recliner, and my wife never wants to get up from it! We are downsizing to a smaller house and just don't have room for it. It is a wall-hugger model, so it can sit just a few inches from the wall and extend out from there. Comes from a smoke-free, pet-free home.

Shelves are just a thin plastic which can suplort no more than 3 folded tshirts. Otherwise the shelf will tear from the weight. Ideal for a seasonal wardrobe or seasonal costumes.
