Bissell carpet cleaner (Chalford GL6)
Bissell compact carpet cleaner. It hasn’t been used for three years but powered up OK this morning. The only problem I can remember with it was that the brushes weren’t as good as I would have liked and I really needed something a bit larger, but it applied shampoo and sucked it up very effectively. It looks short in the photos because the handle is in the storage position.

used condition - would benefit from a good clean, but is a beautiful example of the adjustable hight lights often placed above dining tables several decades ago. It still has old incandescent filament bulbs but could easily take dimmable LEDs and become a talking point in a retro-style makeover!

with the blade cutting at a slight angle to the direction of motion the shavings are ejected to the side and the cutting is a tad easier. A lovely hand tool great for smoothing the edges of narrow boards or cutting approx 1" wide slots.
