We’ve had these replaced as they were too bright for us and our wiring was rubbish so there were two out of these 20 that were flashing. We’re not sure if the flashing was due to the wiring or an issue with the bulb itself but the rest were perfectly functional so am wondering if anyone can use them.

Old Laptops for a good cause (Winterley CW11)
I am looking for old laptops to replace the operating system with Linux. I want to then lend these laptops to people that cannot afford one or just wish to try Linux. I will "lend" rather than "give" the laptops (at no charge), so once they've finished with it or can afford their own, it can go to someone else that needs one. It's all a work in progress at the moment. Stage one is to see if people are willing to donate their old laptops. LINUX is a completely free, open source, secure and privacy focused operating system. LINUX MINT is the best for new users and older laptops, and has an excellent friendly online community. Some laptops are even too old for Linux, however, they can still be used for parts.

Double glazed window openers (Whitchurch SY13)
9 window openers. Double glazed, wooden frames. 7 large windows, 2 smaller (but wider) windows. Have replaced house windows with uPVC, but kept these back with a view to putting them in the shed, but they're too big. Most come with the window furniture attached. Fair condition, but some frames have a bit of rot in the corners. Approx Sizes for 7 larger windows: 745mm x 490mm (glass 660mm x 420mm) Approx sizes for 2 smaller windows: 540mm x 680mm (glass 460mm x 590mm) Ideal for garden use, shed/cold frames etc. Come and collect in Whitchurch or they're off to the tip 😀 Thank you.
