I'm looking for a small piece of MDF to make a lightweight tiny high shelf. 6 or 9mm thick and about 20 or 25cm square. An offcut of laminate flooring would work, I can cut to size and I'm intending to paint it so colour doesn't matter. Can collect to suit you, Chippenham only please.

The deep high-gloss hard-wearing wooden top (not original) sits on two vintage plinths in dark wood. The plinths have shortened bases as my father wanted a lower desk, but they are fully functional. One has a shelf, shallow drawer, deep drawer and filing drawer, the other, one shallow and three deep drawers with a slide out stationery shelf. Lightweight trekking tent from Robens. Very good quality and easy to put up - however it’s nearly 20 years old and the waterproofing has started to wear out. It would be fine in good weather or you could reproof it if needed, or just use for fun.
