Very old steamer trunk (NE Portland (Laurelhurst))

Reposting after holidays and no-show. Antique steamer trunk. Still has its original key! (Although I didn't try it to see if it works.) Used to belong to an elderly relative who passed away back in the 1960's. He was a woodworker, and he added swivel castors to the bottom, but it would be easy to remove them. This is kind of cool the way it is, maybe as a coffee table with storage, but it would also be a great project for a furniture flipper. See Insta for restorations of steamer trunks. Dimensions of the trunk itself (without the casters): 28" wide x 16" front-to-back x 10.5" high. The feet add another 4" to the height, so WITH the feet it sits at about 14.5" high. Homeless people living in their cars – I have a mechanic friend in this area who fixes their cars when they break down. He does this out of charity and does not charge for his labor. (I met him a couple years ago when I was running my own group, “Homeless Helpers.”) He needs to take some photos and needs to print them instantly.
