Trek 4000 (Beckenham hill station (SE6))
Hi all, I am looking a new loving home for this wonderful bike. The frame is in excellent state and is amazingly beautiful but it needs a lot of work to make it rideable again: new chain, the rear cassette, both breaks, cables, wheels. There is also rust on the handlebar. Giving away this bike has been a tough decision for me as I really wanted to fix it but have been postponing it for the past 4 years. This bike has been quite a traveller, it even went on a trip all around Argentina with its previous owner but has been unfortunately quite neglected when they came back to London. I would really love to see this bike on the road some day, even if it will be with a different cyclist :)
