12 pairs of “queen size” stockings (Britannia)
In the depths of my wardrobe, I discovered a couple of hangers loaded with this long-forgotten collection of nylon stockings. I haven’t worn skirts since I stopped having an office job (also stopped having a waist). These would fit a 14-16 lady. I’m now much too fat to fit into them, being more like a 22! I’ve laundered them all, and checked for rips or tears – they’re in pretty good shape. Various colours, as shown.

Free:
several dozen scraper blades (Britannia)
I bought these on Amazon recently, failing to notice that I was ordering not a ten-pack ... but a box of a hundred! I can lead a long and scrapy life, and never need this many. If you'd like to put dibs on a dozen or so – or even just half a dozen – I'm happy to split them up for people.

Free:
(slightly bust) ladies swim fins (Britannia)
I've worn these things for many years, to swim in the river; but last summer, apparently my feet got too big – one of the fins split down the heel. I was planning to repair it with superglue and a leather strip ... but since they're now too small for me, I figured they'd just break again. My shoe size WAS 8.5, and that's what these would fit comfortably – if you feel like fixing them. I know swimming season seems like a long way off!

Free:
two wool dryer balls (Britannia)
I posted these last week, and they were all spoken for ... but a few people never did show up to get theirs. Here's your chance to "get a pair"!

Free:
"past their best" computer speakers (Britannia)
My son bought me a nice new set for Christmas – can anybody use these old ones? If not, they can go into the nearest electronic waste recycling.

Free:
two pairs of shoes: sturdy & flimsy (Britannia)
The boxy black ones are size 8.5, the wee strappy silver sandals a size 8. Both are in decent shape – in fact, I hardly ever wore the sandals, since they were always too frivolous for me.

Free:
kitchen faucet for handyman (Britannia)
I actually got this from here a few months back, and it's been hanging around waiting for my landlord to come and install it. But he surprised me by showing up with a brand-new model, still in the box, and turning up his nose at this repurposed item! I think it has all the necessary hardware with it – including an optional soap dispenser (see blue marking), and all the various hoses and fiddly bits.

Free:
light plastic loo lid (Britannia)
My landlord recently replaced mine, so this is surplus to requirements. It's perfectly clean and functional (if a bit unexciting).

8h
Free:
basic hairdryer (Britannia)
This has been tucked inside my suitcase for many years, as an "emergency backup" – but nowadays, I'm too poor to travel! And I never have the patience to blow-dry my hair anyway.

8h
Free:
(slighly lopsided) cushion (Britannia)
Like a silly fool, I washed this without first removing the cover ... so the batting inside has got all mis-shapen. If you don't mind your cushion being slightly lumpy, it's comfy and attractive. Almost 2 ft long.

8h
Free:
schlocky Dan Brown book (Britannia)
I've read it (against my better judgement), and feel no desire to add it to my permanent library. Somebody else can have it now.

Free:
basic backpack (Britannia)
This thing is quite lightweight, and I've replaced it with a sturdier model. Also the zipper on the outer pocket is broken, so I stichted it closed. It's clean and functional, though.

I was asked if an empty bottle of is available. As I’m not allowed to consume alcohol (due to a medical reason - I know, my loss), I have no idea where to turn for such a novelty. If you happen to have an extra empty, and willing to depart with it, I’ll be happy to take it off your hands. Thanks in advance.
