Bauer E-P300 Jr. hockey elbow pads (Huron and Wellington)
Well-used but still have life in them! They have been washed over their lifespan and are not smelly! One elbow pad replaced by BK Sports. The other is partially coming off. Held on very adequately by some hockey tape. Elastic has some wear but not 'gone.' Good for hockey, street hockey, canal skating, skating for beginner? We like to give locally. This 34” x 26” x 19” (inside dimensions) wooden box is solid and probably has some interesting history. Outside dimensions are 38” x 28” x 21”. Made from 3/4” x 6” (true measure) half-lap-jointed wood. No lid unfortunately. The box had been stored for many (60?) years inside. From the stamped lettering it appears that it was used to ship items between an RCAF station in Saskatoon and Le Havre (France, I assume) aboard the S.S. Scythia in 1956. I suspect this would have been Cunard Lines’ R.M.S. Scythia ( ).
