Stainless Steel Idli Plates Set (1075 Valencia Avenue)
Set of 4 stainless steel idli plates with stand (16 idlies total). A neighbor left it out. I am not sure how they are assembled as a unit. Each plate has a little stand attached to it underneath. When assembled, the unit is placed in a cooking pot, and a knob on top is used to lift it out when the idlies are cooked. According to the internet: —The aluminum Handi is a traditional cooking vessel often used for slow-cooking such as making biryani, curry, or dal in Indian and Pakistani dishes. Made of durable, lightweight aluminum due to due its efficient heat distribution. Wide, circular shape with a broad rim. The label engraved on the underside says “16” and “pure aluminum”. Similar models typically range from 3 liters to larger sizes. The Handi aluminum pan is 10-5/8” wide (top outside diameter) and 3-3/8” high, with a 11” bottom outside diameter. Iron Filings (Palo Alto, near Cal Ave)
I have half a gallon of iron filings that I bought for fun. Iron filings is the black, coarse "powder" that is used at children's museums for exhibits with big magnets. Iron filings and magnets make for a lot of fun. The filings can stain clothing and carpet so if you want to set up a play/tactile experience using them, you will want to do so outside or in an area without carpeting. I would keep them, but I am moving and can't take anything that isn't absolutely necessary/
