Mitsubishi DT-10: front-loading stereo cassette deck Released in 1978 with an original list price of $370. This is a large, rugged, heavy component for a 2-channel stereo system. Please note: I connected it to my 2-channel system and it did not play. I suspect that it needs new belts, but I did not open it up to spot the problem. Please also note: I follow Trash Nothing’s “Fair Chance” Policy (24-hour delay before responding to any requests). Overview and Specifications: Type: Single front-loading analog cassette player and recorder. Production Years: 1978 to 1980. Tape Compatibility: Normal and chrome tape types via manual selection. Performance: Powered by a DC servo motor featuring a large flywheel, offering low wow and flutter rated at 0.06% WRMS. Display & Controls: Analog needle VU meters for level reading; mechanical 3-digit tape counter, plus “residual time” meter; front-panel 1/4-inch microphone jacks. Design: Styled with a classic silver and black aesthetic, characteristic of the late-1970s.
