I no longer have any hammers and find I definately need a couple. I've had a claw hammer donated...thank you very much... but still would like something lighter, and a lump hammer...I had a lump hammer that was bigger and heavier than most sledge hammers but with a lump hammer handle, I used it for all sorts of things. The claw has obviously got me started, so I no longer feel like a man with no hands, but I still have to prioritise household necessities over seemingly frivolous things like tools. That being said, other tools gratefully accepted but I've managed to get a few spanners, screwdrivers and even a small plane, that's wood finishing, not flying...chance would be a fine thing!!! If its your pride and joy that you can't use anymore I promise to be a good custodian, if it's seen better days, so have I, and I enjoy bringing things back to being useful again Thanks in anticipation...some jobs I can now do...curtain rail hanging, blind installation but still waiting to put up pictures, mirrors and bathroom cabinets, along with some extra kitchen cabinets.
