Vintage Brother Super 7300 Electric Typewriter (Causewayhead FK9)
• Vintage Brother Super 7300 electric golf-ball typewriter (circa early 1980s, Japanese-made). • Powers on reliably and mechanical functions work normally (spacebar advances the carriage, carriage return, backspace, tab, margin set, etc., all respond). • Has its original ribbon installed (though it may be old/dried out and need replacement for actual printing). • Keyboard issue: Alphanumeric keys (letters and numbers) do not register or activate the print element—no typing occurs when pressed. Other keys/functions are unaffected. • Overall cosmetic condition: Well-kept with no major damage mentioned; stored for many years unused, so typical light dust/age-related wear expected. • Untested for full printing (due to the key issue), but otherwise appears complete and in good physical shape for its age. • No manual included, but user guides for similar Brother 7300-series models are sometimes available online (e.g., via typewriter enthusiast sites). • No power cable includes - uses standard IEC plug with 3A fuse

I know this is a long shot and a big ask but both my boy's are mad about photography and my oldest son (18) has got a job, been saving up and bought himself a super lens.... so happy for him however, my youngest son (in 5th year) is devastated/jealous and I can't help but feel sorry for him. Don't get me wrong they get on great and he gets a go but he doesn't want to hand it back lol. I am aware that it's not the type of thing you have "lying around" but its worth a try. To keep and make these images accessible for future generations I'd like to transfer to digital .jpg files (preferable quality of at least 20mp). Does anyone have a suitable scanner?
