Hello :) This recliner works well, a handle on the right hand side controls the leg rest. The seat could use a little more stuffing but not uncomfortable. Cup holder is metal. We have a cat and took this recliner from a home with dogs. Both homes are 100% smoke free, no vaping. Recliner is 38" wide at its widest. It is 30" deep when not reclined. We were not given the manual so I'm unsure what the maximum weight is. Please bring a large enough vehicle to fit this large chair; we will get it out the door for you and help you load your vehicle :)
