SADLY, someone here who says he is a computer tech. offered a laptop that...in the end, did not work, did not have a battery, could not be moved without it dying!!! Because I (wrongly, alas) assumed that a tech. person would know wtf he is talking about, after hours of my preparing the laptop, it ended up dying over and over as I relayed the ongoing problems. :/ IF you have a working laptop that Dave could use... --I know these are hard times, but the hardest are when you are eldest and dying... I volunteer at Fudger House, a City-run long-term seniors' care home--and resident David Dingwall, 69, told me he has no net access because he can't afford a device. If you have an old laptop that works, he would be immensely grateful. ~ Denny.

Vintage leather chair (Cabbagetown)
This compact vintage leather armchair is amazingly comfortable. It needs a new seat, but the rest is in very good condition considering its age. It has all the original upholstery tacks. Colour: dark maroon. My plan was to just repad and cover the seat but I know I'll never get to it. OR, just add a cushion on top! Seat height 18", maximum width at outer arms 25". Very sturdy.
