Post-pandemic, Costco has decided to change their policy. They no longer allow the publicity and community positives of bringing in a guest-friend who pays for their own purchase with their own payment method. The member has to be the payer now.

I can bring up to two guests to enter Costco when I visit. I'd be delighted to find a mutually convenient time once or twice a month (just once per person, or ongoing!) To meet up at Lynnwood, Shoreline or Seattle Costco, or once in a blue moon, Redmond or Kirkland. Please be a dependable person and a good communicator.
Let me know in your response whether you prefer Lynnwood, Shoreline or Seattle location, and whether there is a specific day of the week. Weekdays are flexible, weekends early morning only (Due to crowds, I do not go after 10am on weekends.) I have to walk you in to enter the store and be there to scan my member card when you check out, but we won't shop together. Due to the need for clear and actionable communication, I probably won't reply if you don't narrow your request at all or ask me to text you to work out details. Texting is for emergency or confirmed shopping on site ONLY.
First priority for anyone with Medicaid or EBT (costco takes EBT payment). Sorry, I cannot carpool, this is for on-site meetup only.
This is an experiment, and I plan to take this post down when I discontinue this offer. Even if this post is old, YES! (EDIT: No, costco has changed their policy to forbid this type of teamwork) I'm still offering this. (I don't want to clutter up the new offers page with monthly reposts of this offer.) If it is marked "promised" then I am currently overbooked with costco "companions" for 4-6 weeks on this, but PLEASE WRITE ANYWAY so we can coordinate a future date further out. I want to use what resources I have to help others.
Also, please keep in mind that Costco (EDIT: NO LONGER!) *encourages* members to bring guests. This is not in violation of any Costco policy. I encourage other freecyclers to ask their friends (from all parts of life) to come along. Share your favorite budget tips, have a cheap hot dog or pizza picnic in the parking lot.
