Carpet for stair ,hall and living room. (Spennymoor DL16)

I'm moving new house.I'm single mom with 3 children. It was short of money to moving house.I would like to have carpet for hall.stairs and living room.Because of have lot of nails and clips on the floor.I'm worried my kids get hurt from that. Thank you
