This TV Is about 15 years old. The model as Samsung LNT5265F 52-Inch 1080p LCD HDTV. The picture seemed fine to me, but my son claims it has a few dead pixels. It makes a clicking noise when it turns on, which is due to needing new capacitors. It had this problem a few years ago and I replaced the capacitors for $11. The job took about an hour, mostly removing and replacing screws, but the work does require soldering. It is heavy, around 60 lbs. I was about to make the repair again when my son gifted me with a new tv for Mother's Day. If you are willing to make the repair (and it was working without the repair when I last used it but I suspect that the work will need to be done) then this would be a serviceable tv. I can provide the info on how to make the repair if needed.
