Leaky Water Butt and Stand - or a larger planter if cut down (Hyde Lea ST17)

We have an old water butt that has a couple of hairline cracks in the base, so it leaks. Not sure if it is reparable but it could be cut down to make a large planter. The base is in good condition though.
