Frozen Homemade Applesauce (Yonge and Lawrence)

Unsweetened applesauce using apples picked from an organic farm, cooked with cinnamon sticks and then strained using a food mill before freezing in one pound margarine tubs that have stayed in my deep freezer for over several years. Slightly bitter in taste but suitable for baking applesauce cake, to replace an egg and oil in recipes or to make fruit leather, if you have a dehydrator. Ten margarine tubs plus a larger square tub available, preferably to one person.
