I purchased this under the desk treadmill on amazon in october of last year. It started making a knocking noise under the cover where the motor is. I tried to troubleshoot the problem with the company and we went back and fourth via email. The knocking noise does not sound like it is coming from the motor, but rather maybe the rollers. The company could not help me, and eventually just sent me a new one. They don't take back the old one, so now i'm left with it. Someone might be able to open the cover and figure out how to fix the noise. But I don't want to claim that it's a fixable problem. The folded up treadmill in the photo is the one i'm giving away, the one that is unfolded is the new one, but it shows you exactly what the other one looks like.
