Printer is unreliable - and works when it wants to. It’s manufactured December 2011 so I am assuming that it’s due to age. It keeps telling me that optical life is over and I have to fiddle around, shake and open drawers to get it to work again. Then it works fine for a time and the process starts again. I also have a brand new cartridge for it. Also a Drum unit that may not be fully used. I changed out two before I figured out that it was likely the machine itself. If you are using a similar machine then the cartridges might come in handy. I don’t think the printer itself is going to be ok to use, unless you are handy and know how to fix it, if at all possible. You can take both or just the cartridges.
