It's a trolley bag (ie on wheels) designed for carrying a set of lawn bowls; the bag itself is in very good condition but the extending handle at the back won't go up and down anymore. However there is a separate handle it can be carried by so still could be useful to someone. Especially if they can use it to carry something lighter than bowls.
I asked our local shoe and bag mender if the extending handle can be fixed and he said no because the mechanism is broken or damaged and it would be hard to replace because of the specific size needed so my sister bought a new one. Seems a pity to bin this if it can be repurposed or used by someone who can manage to carry the weight of the bowls. (or is handy enough to work out what's wrong and fix it after all).
