With broken but theoretically fixable zipper.
TICLA sleeping bag, rated to 15/25 degrees, very comfy (the inside feels more like cloth than many sleeping bags), very loved by my daughter. Comes with both a small and large stuff stack.
We were about to go camping when we discovered the zipper was broken. We talked to a seamstress who told us how to fix it (instructions below), but neither of us are very handy so we thought our chances of success were low, and since we needed a sleeping bag ASAP, off we went to REI and got a new one.
But this one is still good, if you think you can fix the zipper.
The seamstress told us that all you need to do is remove the metal bracket thing (pictured) that clamps the edge of the zipper teeth, rethread the zipper teeth through the moving zipper part (as I write this I'm realizing I don't know what words to use to describe different parts of a zipper), and then reclamp the bracket.
Maybe you've got more time than we did? It's a good sleeping bag.
