Dyson pipe (Shipley, BD18)

Hi, just wondered if anybody might be scrapping a Dyson V6 animal or similar, the cordless, rechargeable one, I let the pipe part fall down the stairs, the small rounded silver clip part has broken, see pic. managed to push it back into the fitting but just keeps falling out, I can no longer use it standing up, only stooping down ! No fun ! So if you are scrapping one, please please think of me. Thanks for reading.
