Small vacuum repair (Upper North Mankato)

Anyone good with fixing small electronics? I have a small vacuum that works perfectly, except the latch to attach the motor to the collection reservoir is broken and so the entire thing is useless. I've tried a few things but I'm not super savvy in that department.
