One side chalk board, one side white board-magnetic. See pics, my kids broke two dowels so I put colored pencil in it’s place to keep the shelf stable. It does not fold up. They have a table top one that they use now so we don’t use this anymore. Porch pick up in Aurora near fox valley mall
