Carpet for suppressing weeds? (Bisham SL7)

Single use carpet which was used at a recent function. It is now passed its best. Can anyone make use of it? Perhaps to suppress weeds in your garden or allotment? Or to line your boot? Or protect your flooring when doing decorating? Take as little or as much of it as you like. Someone has just taken one roll, but there is plenty left. Will have to sadly take it to landfill next week, if no more takers.
