I think these were bought for use with a torch, but the torch got broken recently. I don't think they've been used much, if at all, as they're still providing approximately 1.5 volts. The red ones have no use-by date on them; the other two are dated November 2019. Nevertheless, there is absolutely no sign of chemical leakage from any of them.
