Never used.
I believe you put one end to baby's stuffed nose and you suck air through the other end (there is filter in the middle), releasing the baby's snot. I bought it years ago when having my first baby and realised that baby doesn't know how to blow nose...at the end I settled on vapour rub: mint + eucalyptus ointment I put on baby's chin and it usually clears the blockage. So I never used this manual method.
