I'm reaching out with an opportunity that is close to my heart and has the potential to make a profound impact on the lives of students at a vocational training centre in Malawi. Having personally visited this centre several times over the past few years, I've witnessed firsthand the dedication and eagerness of these students to learn valuable skills such as tailoring.
I'm asking for items such as fabric scissors, pinking shears, french curves, and sewing machines (electric, hand-cranked, or treadle).
If you have any of these items to spare, I would be immensely grateful for your support. I'm available to collect items within the Bedford area over the next couple of weeks, making it convenient for you.
Additionally, if you happen to have bricklaying, carpentry, or metalwork tools gathering dust, please consider passing them on as well. While my focus is primarily on empowering young women through tailoring and fashion design, I'm equally committed to fostering opportunities for all students at the centre, especially as a few girls are on these courses.
Thank you for considering my request, and please don't hesitate to contact me if you have any questions or items to share.
