4Parkinsons devices (GuelphWaterlooToronto & others)

Hi there devices are needed for a Parkinsons guy that would like to try ANYTHING to slow down the PARKINSONS.
If anyone in any area has an item or items - please message me.
Kitchener Waterloo Cambridge Guelph Brantford Mississauga Elmira ….willing to drive further if a working device is available.

He needs a VIBRATION DEVICE/machine that you stand on or sit on or put your feet on …that works or maybe needs small easy repair.

We hope some people or someone might like to re-home their device or large solid massage chair -if do kindly please contact me.

He needs any kind of help or device he can get right now; his VERY old stationary bike is not in very good shape, it’s more of a struggle to use.
It is not giving him the vibration massage stimulation he needs.
The vibration platform you stand on or sit on or put your feet on would help so very much.

       The heated massaging cushion;
HO-MEDICS portable cushion with multi settings for upper back & lower back and legs that you plug into the wall receptacle & you put it on a chair or sofa or a Bed would help very much.

⚠️. He’s also in need of a
electric blanket that works & is in good shape & that has different settings.
A large FOAM wedge to elevate the legs would be helpful.
An Extra Large adjustable Back-Brace in good condition for his posture is needed.
A portable adjustable desk that can be adjusted up or down to different heights would be helpful for him.
He says he needs to sit & stand try to move around and do some emails or face time without holding his his phone - he shakes - tremors when trying to do things that need a lot of focus.
His hand and leg shaking can be heard over the phone - he wishes to try a table like a hospital table so maybe the shaking can’t be heard.

He has allergies, if at all possible …can things be from a smoke-free home or business.

He would like to try the vibrating device that you can stand or lean on the sooner the better.

He really liked an older massage chair that reclined & elevated the legs & feet that had many setting. It massaged his upper back & his lower back - it was very strong with massage & with many settings.
It was found on TrashNothing years ago - it needed a motor= years ago he didn’t have signs of Parkinson’s at all &
he was lucky to get the chair & he put a new motor in it - he gave it away to a person needing massage for their injured back.
A solid working massage chair that reclines and has different massage functions & heat or no heat would be so
very VERY 💯 APPRECIATED - even if it needs a motor fix - his nephew could FIX the motor.
        It’s a long shot -
💯It would be so nice to surprise the Parkinsons guy with a used massage chair that is from a smoke & pet free home.
He would be so excited about life again - it’s the stimulation & vibration & massage that plays a huge part with FIGHTING Parkinson’s. He is trying hard to wait for his Parkinson’s appointment at TGH - 18 months is way toooo long - he needs to work on it ASAP NOW.
             🙋‍♀️A very BIG THANK YOU
for your time and help & especially for reading this special Parkinsons request.
           🙋‍♀️just 1 more thing ….
If you have any Parkinson’s connections or groups in the areas listed or Parkinsons phone support friends any where - or know of a group that meets in the areas listed above or maybe a group I could help him go to that does walks or other helpful things let me know please …Parkinsons friends of any age he needs more then ever now - he’s only 63.

Please don’t take this the wrong way …he says he needs to be with other people who have Parkinson’s tremors /shaking - he feels like he is alone in this….
he is slightly shy & won’t go himself to groups initially but he is not shy when I’m along for the ride initially.

That’s all for now.
Take care🐣🐇
Happy Easter Everyone
