two suitcase, small black one has some wheel issues if you try to twist them, but drags fine. I would still use it for air travel but it annoys my partner too much.
The blue suitcase isn't amazing quality but was used just once as we needed an extra bag when coming home from an overseas trip. Would recommend it for domestic travel, not on an airline.
