This is an old Cookworks Centrifugal Juicer which basically means its for harder to juice things like celery, apples, carrots etc. (not the type for squeezing citrus fruits. It uses the whole fruit or veg and then ditches the pulp out into a container. Got from a charity shop and has been well used and loved for juicing apples from my folks garden but my Dad invested in a newer one. I have just plugged this in to check and its still working.
