Verbena bonariensis (World’s End Burgess Hill)

Dozens of self seeded plants, dug up today. Some almost 30 cm high, some less than 10cm.
This is an amazing plant for wildlife! Bees and butterflies love the flowers, and also the hummingbird hawk moth. I leave the seed heads on over winter, and blue tits, sparrows and gold finches love the seeds.
