portable air conditioner (Lemon Grove)

Whew! July is already sweltering!!! Hoping someone has a portable air conditioner they're no longer needing - please! Because I'm older now (75) my body isn't very adaptable & medications make me even more susceptible to heat exhaustion so feeling worried about this summer. Ceiling fans help but won't be sufficient. If you installed central AC and now have a "spare" portable air conditioner PLEASE consider gifting it to me. My indoors only cats [Herb & Hennie] would also benefit.
