Currently about 12 feet long. 3 sections -- 2 aluminum and one wood. See first picture.
The second picture shows just the cutting mechanism. The third picture shows that the wood needs to be 1" diameter so that it will fit into the aluminum section.
It disassembles into 3 pieces for storage and transport.
The wood section broke due to my carelessness. But can be replaced using a 1" diameter pole of any length you want. So you can make it 16 feet long or longer. If you're handy, you can remove the cutter part from the current wood section and remount on a new piece of wood.
This is far cheaper than buying a NEW pole cutter!
I have the rope to attach to the cutter head that I can give you to reattach to the cutting arm.
(I inherited another pole cutter, so I no longer need this one).
