Flowering plants (McKinleyville near airport)

I'm adding to a flower garden at my rental and would love plants and seeds that blossom on the softer side of the color spectrum -- pink, peach, lilac, blue, cream, yellow. Especially need plants gophers don't like -- alliums, etc. Thank you!
