I'm looking for a piece of slate (preferably Welsh but I won't be picky!) at least 25mm thick x area of 52cm x 40cm as a base for a stove. It does not have to be a regular shape as long as it encompasses that area.
I could also use a larger quantity between 1.5 - 2.0 sq metres which I can 'crazy pave' to cover the entire existing hearth. It all needs to be about the same thickness and the surface can be either smooth or natural.
