Vinyl record player deck (Cutlers Green CM6)

Please see the photo for colour scheme. I bought this from Argus a good few years ago intending to use it to digitally record my vinyl collection but I couldn't get it to work. It has analogue phono outputs. I always intended to return it but then forgot about it. No doubt it's something simple but I haven't the time to spend on it. I'm sure someone who know how to tinker with audio systems can fix it, or it may not even be broken! Who knows. I need the space.
