Faulty Drysoon Heated drying pod airer (Alperton HA0)

I brought this in 2020 from Lakeland (see link below) and it has had 4 years of hard work and has finally broken. It may well be repairable by someone who practical or have a different use for it, so sharing it here before taking it to the tip. It has 2 faults:-
1. the part that holds it to the base has broken.
2. The timer has broken, so it doesn't turn itself off.
I am sure there are ways to this can be useful or to repair it.

Please message me with suggested days and times for collection. This is heavy, however is bagged up and so could be taken on public transport. Collection from HA0 4LL is expected, unless you have a VERY good reason for not being able to collect this yourself. If requesting delivery, please give your reason why.
