Before using the scale for the first time or after replacing the battery, press lightly on the scale platform to turn it on. The display will turn on and off automatically.
Place: Put the scale on a flat, hard surface that's not wet or carpeted.
Step on: Stand on the scale with your feet evenly distributed.
Wait: Remain still until the scale displays your weight.
Read: The weight will remain on the screen for a few seconds before turning off to save battery.
