most of a big roll of carpet tape (Britannia)

I no longer remember whether this is the exact brand from the photo ... but the stuff is "still sticky, after all these years."

It's not quite a full roll of double-sided tape, but would fasten down a few carpets or rugs – or anything else that needs sticking together.
