Art project chair? (Glover Park)

This is a lovely wooden chair that cracked down the middle on the seat. In its current condition it’s not good for sitting, but maybe if you were doing an art project that needed wood or chairs, it could be good? Or you could probably fix it with some industrial strength wood glue.
