a friend has pointed out how well her rhubarb grows due to being in a pottery chimney pot - it helps to "force" the rhubarb as well as warming the soil and retaining the heat when the nights are cold. So a chimney pot would be great or something similar.

Hi everyone. I know it sounds crazy wanting a Fan in the colder months. I work from home and have the privilege of a boiler tank in my bedroom cupboard. Whilst this is amazing on cold nights, it's not so great when I'm working from home. My room gets very warm, and my window is straight out onto Wallisdown Road so it's noisy as heck when I try to concentrate. Anything considered, if its larger I can put in the hall to move the air around more. Thank you 🙂

Old Custom-Built Wooden Bed (Swanage BH19)
Double bed, beautifully crafted wooden head and foot boards, iron bedstead. Tall. It was made by a family member, probably 80 years ago. Very big and heavy. Not sure of the construction, but I think panels must slot in. If interested, you need to dismantle it with your own tools. Will need two people and a van! To be collected from a holiday let, so need to make firm arrangements with the housekeeper to collect. Message for more details.

Hi everyone. I was told about this group by my friend Stacy, so I thought I would join up and try here before buying yet another phone for my 13 year old. This time it wasn't actually his fault, and we think his phone was actually stolen at his swimming lesson sadly. He has been through a few phones, so his last one was a free gift from his auntie with a crack in the screen. He is more interested in books and his PC, so the phone generally only gets used for WhatsApp and calls. If you have something that still works and for that purpose that you no longer need, he doesn't care what it is, whether its damaged etc. Just really need to get him through until his birthday in September so he can stay in contact and be reachable when he's out. He's using a basic non smart phone for now, but the use of WhatsApp would make a massive difference. I will wait and see on here, then maybe try Gumtree etc. Thank you. Marcus Kemp
