Hi everyone,I am looking for a free, workable adult bicycle to get around town and commute to work.I am strictly looking for personal use to save on transit costs, not for resale. It does not need to be fancy at all. As long as the brakes work, the tires hold air, and it can get me from point A to point B safely, I will be incredibly grateful.If you have an old bike sitting in your garage or basement gathering dust that you no longer need, please let me know. I volunteer at Fudger House, a City-run long-term seniors' care home--and resident David Dingwall, 69, told me he has no net access because he can't afford a device. Fudger House doesn't have building-wide WiFi but there is a mobile hotspot, so if he had a portable device, he could access the net! If you have an old laptop that works, he would be immensely grateful. ~ Denny.

Restoring vintage/old machines requires an endless search for parts and salvage from all model machines that can't be repaired. Most little fiddly screws, bolts, bars, springs, gears, hooks etc. haven't been made for 50 years. They can be found and salvaged on DEAD machines and that mystery pile of pieces in junk drawers. Keep out of land fill!!! Hobby and collection obsession...NOT to sell.
