Anyone have any left over weed blocker fabric I can have? (I don't want to buy a full roll for this small area as I won't use it all.) I need about 70 square feet to correctly re-install a flagstone boarder. Yep, I installed it first with just pea gravel and flagstones. Now I have weeds poking through! Duh. DIY Room Airfilter (near Palo Alto High School)
The filter itself is an Austin Air FR400. Filter dimensions: 14" o.d., 7.5" i.d. x 14.5" tall. Overall dimensions: 16.5"W x 16.5"D x 3'H This can filter a large space. This is a DIY setup with a duct fan, and a variac for speed control (smooth, quiet operation). I made the cabinet with some scrap wood. Maybe you can improve upon that. I am unsure on filter life. It runs well. I am downsizing. I made it during the pandemic.
