Landscapes Calendar 2002 - Lovely photos for framing? (Primrose LA1)
Some years ago I was moved to buy any cheap calendars I came across that featured interesting photographs, thinking I might frame them as eye-catching wall art. The theme of this one is "Landscapes", with photos taken across Europe and South America, and I found the photos quite fascinating. I did frame the odd one or two of this calendar, and all of the pictures are now loose pages, so it won't hang on the wall anymore. If it did, you could have reused it in 2030 when all the dates will be right again! Each picture measures 52 cm x 35 cm, not counting any of the white border.

1 x Better Nature Tempeh (200g) - BB 17/7/26 - BB (Primrose LA1)
I recently bought a couple of packs of this Better Nature Tempeh to marinate and use in stir-fries, but probably won't have time to use this second pack before it's BB Expiry date. Tempeh is often used in the same ways one might use tofu, but has a much firmer and chewier texture. It is a fermented soya product, high in calcium and protein, low in fat, and is vegan. This pack is 200g, and has a Best Before date of July 17th 2026, and needs to be stored in the fridge. Please only respond if you are familiar with tempeh and its uses, as it may not be to everyone's taste.

Decorative dress trim (Castle Ward Lancaster)
Promised
This light turquoise/ duck egg blue decorative trim came off an item that I've been giving a Sewing Bee style transformation. The washing label says the trim is 100% cotton and I would describe it as a kind of heavy weight broderie anglais rather than crochet or lace. It is approximately 9cm/ 3½ inches deep. The two pieces which came from the short sleeves are about 44cm/ 17 inches long and one from the hem is about 142cm/ 56 inches long.

Epson printer - not working (Castle Ward Lancaster)
Someone techy might be able to get it working. It's an Epson XP-247 3-in-1 printer scanner copier which was given to me second hand about five years ago. There was no installation CD but I was able to download the necessary drivers from the internet. Recently it began to leave blank lines when printing draft quality which was not resolved by cleaning the heads. High quality printing was fine. But then the black ink ran out and after I changed it the printer only printed the colours, not the black. I thought the new cartridge must be faulty so I tried another one. This time it wouldn't even acknowledge that the new cartridge was even there. I have been using the same brand of non-Epson cartridges for 5 years but maybe Epson have tightened up on people using non-branded ones. So I've decided it's time to get a new printer. I'm hoping that someone might be able to make use of this one even if it's only for 'spares and repairs'

National Geographic Calendar 2011 - South America (Primrose LA1)
Some years ago I was moved to buy any cheap calendars I came across that featured interesting photographs, thinking I might frame them as eye-catching wall art. The theme of this one is "South America From The Air", and I found the photos quite fascinating. I never got around to framing any of the photos in this calendar, mostly because I didn't have frames that would accommodate the pictures. Perhaps you do? Or perhaps you would just appreciate the photos for what they are in calendar form. If you wait long enough, the dates will match up again - in 2033, by my reckoning! Each photo measures 36 cm x 43 cm, though the bottom-left corners show National Geographic lettering.

I x metre Strip of Black Lace Fabric (Door Width) (Primrose LA1)
This decorative black trim piece came with the magnetised fly-screen we got for our back door during the summer, but we really won't use it. Can anyone put it to some creative use? It is made of some cheap man-made material, and I suggest you keep it away from any open flames...!

Pair of white Reebok Ladies' casual shoes - size 6 (Primrose LA1)
I have these used, but looked-after, Reebok Ladies' Casual shoes (size 6) which belonged to a late aunt of mine. She always insisted on sturdy but comfortable footwear, and would have used these regularly before her mobility declined. I have washed the laces, cleaned up the soles and exterior as best I can, and used a foot hygiene spray on the insides. There are visible scuffs to the fronts and backs of the shoes, which you may be able to disguise somehow. More, similar items will be listed shortly, after I have given them the clean-up treatment too!

Aluminium Walking Frame - hardly used (Primrose LA1)
I have this good condition Aluminium Walking Frame, which is now surplus to requirements. I used it for a couple of weeks following surgery, but no longer need it. This is the non-wheeled version, so the user needs to be able to lift it to move it forward. It is pretty light, but may not be suitable for someone very frail, if they have very diminished upper body strength. The legs are adjustable to suit the height of the user.
