Vintage Chair with Padded Seat (Clapham Junction SW11)
Giving away this vintage wooden spindle-back dining chair, 40+ years old, for free as part of a house clearance. It features a firm, black faux leather padded seat. Structurally sound. It comes from a strictly smoke and pet free home. This is an unfinished upcycle. The chair originally had a high gloss varnish, and I have started the process of removing the varnish, but I cannot complete the project (see photo). The black padded seat can be easily removed, making it very simple to finish the sanding/painting of the frame. • Logistics: Light enough for a one person carry. I have these three sets of things to to to pass on. 1. KidzLabs animation praxinoscope - This has been opened, and used once, but I think we put the bits back afterwards, and it can be reused. 2. M&S Dinosaur Cress Forrest - Never used, but package a bit battered. Also has a "Display Until " date of 2022, but am assuming the seeds in it are likely to still be viable, if anyone wants to give it a try. 3. Chemistry Wiz - This was given to us secondhand, though I don't think the people who gave it to us used it, and and we have not tried to use it. as far as I can tell at a glance the bits seem to be there. But I can't be sure.
