Hi all, I'm in Leicester and looking for an old laptop that someone's no longer using. I'm currently out of work and can't stretch to buying one, even second-hand, but I'd like to spend some of this time learning Linux and brushing up on technical skills. Spec really doesn't matter — I am ideally looking for a ThinkPad as they are quite sturdy but really anything from the last 10 years or so will do. Even if the battery's dead or the keyboard has a sticky key, as long as it powers on and the screen works, I can make use of it. Happy to collect from anywhere in Leicester or nearby. I'll wipe the drive myself, or I'm happy for you to wipe it first if you'd prefer. Thanks for reading. Ash

Sturdy chest of drawers, 2 of the struts that are between the drawers are broken, they aren’t for support or anything and could be easily repaired either glued or a baton put behind, it doesn’t affect the function at all. We’ve got a kids squad suitable. I’d say her age up to 14-15, obviously dependent on size of child. It’s currently sitting in our shared and been in our shed now for nearly a year. It currently isn’t working but we’re not too sure why it’s not working and we’re not going to pay to have it fixed because our children are not particularly bothered about riding it anymore. It’s free to pick up. We think it might be the battery needs replacing or there’s a loose wire somewhere.
