Metal framed single bed. The mattress has seen little use, and is on the firm end of the spectrum. The frame is still intact despite several decades of use, though one of the legs sits askew because the correctly sized bolt was lost and we just made do with what was to hand.

So if you're contemplating taking a world cruise, any of these are ideal as cabin baggage for packing your ball gowns, cocktail dresses, top hat and tails, etc, etc...the choice of usage is yours.
