New Zealand Flax (Near Prospect High School)
I’m sharing a few Bare root cuttings. New Zealand Flax (Phormium tenax) is an evergreen perennial plant native to New Zealand is a large ornamental evergreen plant. The plant grows as a clump of long, strap-like leaves, up to 7 feet long, from which arises a much taller flowering shoot, with dramatic yellow or red flowers. NOTE: This plant needs a large space. My 35 year old mature plant is about 7’X7’! It likes full or partial sun and soil with good drainage. Drought resistant once established.

Crocosmia Bulbs (Near Prospect High School)
These beautiful flowering plants are actually corms. The plant is hardy, preferring a sunny location with well-draining soil. I must emphasize that this will spread if not planted in pots and in the ground can become invasive if not managed. I planted mine in the ground along a fence over 20 years ago and my dozen or so corms now number in the hundreds. Here’s a link to more info on growing crocosmia:

Microwave oven (broken) (Bowers x El Camino)
Fixable? Scrap metal? At first the fan kept on blowing and the carousel kept turning after the heating time ended, as long as the door was open. I used this for a while after making sure the oven was not still beaming out microwaves with the door open. And then the keypad stopped responding, and the heating stopped. Some research suggest that this may be a problem with some switches If no taker, this goes out on Santa Clara city cleanup day Otherwise, microwave is in fine condition. The photo does not do it justice. The keypad had the original plastic on the entire time, so underneath it is still in clean condition. Please acKnowledge in your request that you know this microwave is nonfunctional. And propose a time frame are confident you can come, because once I put this out, I do not want to have to bring it back in.
